Paul Groulx has been involved in regional theatre as a director, actor, stage manager and producer since 1983. His past directorial efforts include: "The Trip To Bountiful" by Horton Foote; "The Lesson" by Eugene Ionesco; "Brontosaurus" by Lanford Wilson; "Mountain Language" & "The Dumbwaiter" by Harold Pinter, "Amadeus" by Peter Schaffer, the musical "Cabaret" (as co-director), the musical "The Secret Garden" . His next project will be directing "The Night of the Iguana" by Tennessee Williams. He has co-produced with John C. O'Hara many productions at West End Studio Theatre including: Fiddler On The Roof, Oliver!, and The War Show. He has performed in many productions including The Miracle Worker, Greetings, and Amadeus. His productions have been awarded numerous accolades for acting, design and "Best Production". Paul also served as chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee for the Oakville Arts Council in 2006 and was instrumental in the drafting of the new strategic plan for the Oakville Arts Council. He studied acting extensively with Miriam Laurence in Toronto prior to attending and graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School. Now in his ninth year of law practice, Paul also practices family law in South Central Ontario
